Memories of : Our One Day Trip to Agra- India in 2020.
In Year 2020 when COVID-19 has almost ruined the year Mentally, Financially and Morally; We got a chance to visit Agra (India) for a day trip.It was merely 20 Years since i have been their with my Parents and family. This time I visited the City with my Husband and It was memorable trip of watching TAJ MAHAL in 2020.
Everyone who visits Agra has a Single goal for a Day to visit Taj-Mahal and to capture all the beauty of this monument. Taj Mahal is a symbol of Love, Purity and Beautiful Architecture that made it one of the world's seven wonders.
We reached the Agra from Kanpur in 5 Hrs Roads Drive. It was a pleasant Weather of November when the little cold can be felt. Our Journey Via Lucknow- Agra Express highway was so good and Traffic was very less and Sun-Light was soothing.
The best part of the our plan was, that we were staying in Hotel-TAJ to experience the real luxury and royalty. We checked in TAJ-HOTEL at 2 o'ck in a day. This grand and beautiful Hotel is just half kilometer away from Taj Mahal that reduced the Travelling time and we had lunch in hotel and left the premises for Taj Mahal sightseeing by 4 o'ck in the evening.
We took TANGA (Horse-Cart) and it was so memorable because we generally don't travel in Tanga in big cities. The female Horse was dressed so colorful and covered with metallic ornaments. Finally we reached TAJ MAHAL in 5 Mins. The security and sanitation was proper due to Pandemic reason. It took 15 mins to reach Inside after tough security and safety measures.
Finally we are in-front of TAJ MAHAL. I lost for few minutes in the beauty of this huge white marble Mausoleum. It was bespoken by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan who reigned from 1628 to 1658 in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal tomb. It is also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan. The tomb is the centerpiece of a 17-hectare (42-acre) which includes a mosque and Private gardens and fountains that is bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.
The Taj Mahal complex is believed to have been completed in its entirety in 1653 at a cost estimated at the time to be around 32 million rupees, which in 2020 would be approximately 70 billion rupees. The main building has Huge Dome shape Structure where the Both Tombs are Present and this structure is accompanied with 4 long Minars (Towers) at every corner presenting each direction. The Glory and the Beauty of TAJ has amazed, touched and stunned us. Almost every corner of this monument we visited and it was a speechless experience. We captured the TAJ MAHAL in few clicks and with our memories.
After coming out of the Mausoleum the shopping lanes and counters were open with variety of Local Specialties. The white and black marble made souvenirs like : Photo frame, Mugs, Magnets, Pen-Holders, Elephants, Plates and statues were so beautiful and colorful. The real Sweet of Agra is PETHA and "Panchi Petha" shops are very famous.
Finally we reached Hotel by 8 o'ck and Had Buffet Dinner with Royal Variety of Food. It was mouth watering and finest cuisine that anyone can experience. Our single day trip come to end and it was the Double TAJ visit Experience that we have planned for a Day trip.
